Description
The original Lord Soil Sampler is 3 ft.; (0.97 m) in overall length with a 1in (2.5cm) shaft and handle. The handle is 12in (30.5cm). All of the tubing is tough nickel plated chrome molly steel. The "T" handle is permanent and not removable but lines up with the bed. The replaceable cutting tip is made of heat treated nickel plated chrome molly rod steel. The unit is also marked in 6in (15.2cm) increments to assure you are at the desired depth while sampling.
