Hi pressure/vacuum soil water sampler. Slim Tube functions exactly like our 1940 Soil Water Sampler only slimmer in design. Slim Tube pressure/vacuum soil water sampler used for deep sampling down to 300 foot (100m) depths, or where long lateral runs are required. The sampler consists of a 1 bar high flow (100 kPa) ceramic cup, PVC body, and an end cap. High-pressure compression fittings allow connection of polyethylene vacuum and pressure tubing. The sampler is 1.3" (3.3 cm) in diameter and 24" (60 cm) long. Thick-wall PVC tubing and internal check valves allow for safe, high-pressure use, without risk of damage or sample loss.
